Trading Card Games
Pokémon TCG
Most Pokémon card types including Base Set, modern V/VMAX/VSTAR, Illustration Rares, Trainer Gallery, Shining, Gold Star, and many Japanese cards.
Popular cards: Charizard, Pikachu, Mewtwo, Umbreon, Lugia
Holo bleed, silvering, and pack-fresh whitening are common issues we detect.
Known limitations: reflective foils, slabs, and heavy texture can still be harder to evaluate from a single photo.
Magic: The Gathering
Most Magic cards from Alpha/Beta through modern sets. Regular, foil, extended art, borderless, showcase, retro frame, and many serialized cards.
Popular cards: Black Lotus, Ragavan, The One Ring, Sheoldred
Foil curling doesn't affect grade but poor centering on older sets is common.
Known limitations: reflective foils, slabs, and heavy texture can still be harder to evaluate from a single photo.
Yu-Gi-Oh!
Most Yu-Gi-Oh! card types including 1st Edition, Limited Edition, Ultimate Rare, Ghost Rare, Starlight Rare, and Collector's Rare.
Popular cards: Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Dark Magician, Pot of Greed
Yu-Gi-Oh! cards are smaller than standard TCG size. Our AI adjusts centering calculations accordingly.
Known limitations: reflective foils, slabs, and heavy texture can still be harder to evaluate from a single photo.
One Piece TCG
The rapidly growing One Piece card game. Supports most major rarities including Leader, Super Rare, Secret Rare, Manga Rare, and alternate art cards.
Popular cards: Luffy, Shanks, Yamato, Nika Luffy
One Piece cards have unique texturing that can sometimes be confused with surface damage. Our AI is trained to distinguish them.
Known limitations: reflective foils, slabs, and heavy texture can still be harder to evaluate from a single photo.
Disney Lorcana
Supports Lorcana cards from The First Chapter onward, including Cold Foil, Enchanted, standard rarities, and many promos.
Popular cards: Elsa, Mickey Mouse, Stitch, Maui
Lorcana's unique card finish creates a distinct surface pattern. We account for this in surface scoring.
Known limitations: reflective foils, slabs, and heavy texture can still be harder to evaluate from a single photo.
Dragon Ball Super Card Game
Supports many Dragon Ball Super Card Game sets, including Special Rares, Secret Rares, and God Rares.
Popular cards: Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Broly
Full-art cards with thin borders require adjusted centering standards.
Known limitations: reflective foils, slabs, and heavy texture can still be harder to evaluate from a single photo.
Digimon TCG
Supports Digimon Card Game in both English and Japanese, including Secret Rares and Alternative Art cards.
Popular cards: Omnimon, Gallantmon, Imperialdramon
Japanese prints tend to have tighter quality control than English.
Known limitations: reflective foils, slabs, and heavy texture can still be harder to evaluate from a single photo.
Flesh and Blood
Experimental support for Flesh and Blood, including Cold Foil, Extended Art, Marvel, and Legendary variants.
Popular cards: Fyendal's Spring Tunic, Eye of Ophidia
Cold Foil variants have unique surface characteristics our AI recognizes.
Known limitations: reflective foils, slabs, and heavy texture can still be harder to evaluate from a single photo.
Riftbound
Experimental support for Riftbound, including foil and special edition variants where scans are clear enough.
Popular cards: Rift Walker, Void Sentinel, Nexus Prime
Riftbound cards feature detailed border work — centering and edge evaluation are key focus areas.
Known limitations: reflective foils, slabs, and heavy texture can still be harder to evaluate from a single photo.

How it adapts
Why different card types need different grading
Not all cards are built the same. Card size, border width, foil type, and print quality vary by game. The AI adapts its evaluation for each format.
Centering
Border ratios adjusted for card size and border width differences between games.
Surface
Holo, cold foil, textured, and matte finishes each have distinct evaluation criteria.
Edges
Factory cut quality varies by manufacturer. The AI knows what’s normal for each.
Corners
Vintage and modern cards wear differently. Evaluation adjusts for era and print run.
Surface evaluation
How card finish affects grading
Different card finishes create unique surface characteristics. What looks like damage on one finish type may be completely normal on another. The AI is trained to distinguish between them.
